Sprint grandparents!
On the occasion of world Grandparents Day on October 2nd, 2016, the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo opens its doors to the new generations… especially if accompanied by their grandparents. Free educational workshops explore the games of the past and look towards the automobile of the future, while the older visitors can discover the history of the great Italian brand in the museum halls, among legendary models and stories of an era, followed by a free guided tour.

Our workshops:

“Once upon a time … Let’s build by recycling!”

In a period when sustainability and recycling are key issues to protect the planet, the goal is to stimulate children to adopt a correct behavior in everyday life.
We will do so by trying to stimulate our young visitors’ imagination with the prototype of an “Alfa Romeo” built with common recycling materials.

“My grandparents’ car … Travelling through history”

Discovering a world we have only heard about in stories: the games our grandparents used to play. Those games, devoid of technological elements, which they used to built themselves, only to play. A plunge into the past to understand what it was like and to better appreciate what we have today. With imagination, creativity, and manual skills.

The activities will take place throughout the day, but reservations are mandatory. For information and enrolment, we kindly ask you to call 02 444 25 561 or to write to didattica@museoalfaromeo.com.
