In 2022, the Alfa Romeo Museum will once again propose its series of monthly Backstage conferences, dedicated to an in-depth examination of the history of the brand: each time, the protagonist is a different car from the Collection whose history is reconstructed during the conference, not only thanks to unpublished materials from the Alfa Romeo Documentation Centre but also with the testimony of those - historians, designers, test drivers, mechanics - who played an active role in or had in-depth knowledge of that particular car or that project.
We have chosen this year's themes in collaboration with our fans – we have collected suggestions and requests from clubs and enthusiasts, whom we asked to define the 2022 programme with us. We ourselves chose a theme as well: the relationship between Alfa Romeo and Monza, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the circuit on which the Biscione has written memorable pages of history.
In January and February - given the difficult situation caused by the Covid emergency - the conferences will be purely virtual, and broadcast live on the Facebook profile @museoalfaromeo. But from the month of March, they will be held live, in the museum's Sala Giulia, and will then be streamed on Facebook, in both Italian and English.
Participation in our Backstage conferences is free of charge and included in the Museum's entrance ticket.
