1971: Nino Vaccarella, the "Flying Dean" and Toine Hezemans won the Targa Florio. Almost fifty years after Sivocci's RL had dominated the Sicilian marathon with the four-leaf clover drawn on the bonnet, now the Tipo 33/3 brought home the ninth out of ten victories for Alfa Romeo.
