Beyond the allure of the magnificent bodyworks: admire the frames, engines, the "heart" of Alfa Romeos of all times. Once a year, this dream comes true: the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo shows itself to its visitors in an unusual form, with "Open bonnets". A tradition that was launched in December 2016, when the Museum, to celebrate its 40th anniversary, created an event dedicated to all fans. The formula chosen for the celebration was, precisely, that of the open bodyworks, which allows visitors to see the cars normally exhibited in the Museum in an entirely new way. Not only open bonnets and doors: just think about the vertical opening of the Carabo or the Caimano, the enormous bonnets of the Tipo 33s, the removable bodyworks of the 155 DTM or the incredible 164 ProCar. And much more.

The 2016 event was so successful that we have now decided to make it a yearly event scheduled every year on the occasion of the Museum's "birthday". On Saturday and Sunday December 16th and 17th, we will therefore host it again, with the cars permanently exhibited at the Museo Storico in Arese, but also with other "surprises" that will be added for the occasion.
