Alfa Romeo's origins: this is the topic of the next “Backstage” event on 23/24 June.

Milan in the beginning of the 20th century, the atmospheres of Expo 1906, the first automobiles running on the streets, and the birth, in the Portello district, of the Darraq facility, which, some years later, in 1910, would give rise to the A.L.F.A. workshops.

To illustrate that period, the Museum will host journalist and writer Giosuè Boetto Cohen, together with the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo, and – above all – a Darracq 8/10 HP belonging to the Museum's collection. Usually kept in the Museum's storage, the vehicle will be exhibited throughout the weekend together with its twin-cylinder engine.
