From May 10th-12th this year, Milan will be hosting the 92nd National Gathering of the Alpini (Alpine infantry corps). The choice of location is highly significant because this year marks the one hundredth anniversary of the Italian National Association of Alpine Soldiers, which was founded precisely in the capital of Lombardy on July 8th, 1919. As a Milanese brand founded in Milan in 1910, Alfa Romeo warmly welcomes the penne nere (Black Feathers). For the occasion, all Alpini who wish to visit the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo in Arese – just a few kilometres from Milan – will receive a special discount on the entrance ticket (8€ instead of 12€) simply by showing their hat. The Museo Alfa Romeo on Saturday, May 11th, it will host a concert of the Alpini Choir from Rivoli, directed by Elisabetta Devigli Tramonte. The concert will take place at 5.30 pm in the Giulia room. For those who wish to visit the Museum before the concert, we would like to point out the free guided tour, which is included in the entrance ticket, starting at 4 pm and ending at 5.30 pm, just in time for the concert.
